Most of the professional pet sitters are:
My name is Alina and I am a Manager at Fantastic Pet Care. My colleagues, your pet sitters and walkers, sometimes tell me that they have the best job in the world and I cannot agree more with that. I spend my working days with animals, and meet most of the pets we are asked to take care of and their owners, who along with my coworkers are some of the nicest people I have been fortunate enough to meet.
I have always been an animal lover. Back in my home country Bulgaria I was involved in a NGO called 'Animal Help Varna', which helped homeless animals in all possible ways. Often dogs and cats came to us in a very sad state and it was always the best feeling to see them brought back to health and with restored confidence. This gave me great experience in understanding and caring for different animals of different ages with different needs, something that comes in very useful in my work today.
I am a vegetarian lead by the simple truth that 'Animals are my friends and I don't eat my friends'. When I am not at work a lot of my time is spent with my two best friends my cats. I take our responsibilities toward your pets very seriously and if I have not met you or them yet I would be more than happy to do so, very soon. Alina
Hello, I'm Kim and I was the very first pet carer at Fantastic Pet Care. Like all of us I'm an animal lover, please don't ask me if I prefer dogs or cats, it would be hard to choose. I love dogs for their loyalty and playfulness, cats for their independence. In fact I'm just crazy about animals and happy to spend as much time as I can with them, whenever I can.
My friends tell me that they like the fact that I'm always smiling. I have a dream job and I'm lucky enough to have good friends, so there's nearly always something to smile about. What I enjoy most about being with animals is that all they ask of us is love, so long as you give them that they're happy and accept you. The other nice thing about working for Fantastic Pet Care is our clients, the two legged ones! People who care for their pets are almost always good people, or so it seems to me.
The picture you see below is me with my good friend 'Boots'. She's very playful and as you can see she's quite big, but she's a real lady, she's never tried to use her strength against me. We're not supposed to have favourites, but Boots has won her own special place in my heart. I believe that the more you love, the more you can love, so if you happen to have a pet who you'd like me to care for I'm looking forward to meeting him or her. Kim
I was a lucky child, my family were animal lovers so I always had pets to love and care for, we had dogs, cats, hamsters and fish. My parents always made sure that I understood the responsibility involved in owning any pet, but my real soft spot was always for our dogs. You can play with a dog more than any other animal and they give so much love back in return for your affection. Today I'm proud to share my life with a female husky named Tara, who I think may be the most playful and energetic dog in the world. I was brought up with lots of pets, not just one at a time, so being a pet sitter and dog walker really is my dream job. I enjoy any time spent with animals but my very favourite part of my work is taking dogs for long walks. Nikol
My name is Karina, but you can call me Carrie. I'm from Bulgaria and I'm lucky enough to be working as a pet carer here. I love having work which means I get to meet lots of different animals, and of course their owners too. I think my whole life has been going in this direction. When I was a child I took any opportunity to tale my friends’ dogs for walks or to house sit for them and look after their pets when they were away. Most recently this was for a friend who was abroad, she left me with her Pomeranian, a really cute little fellow. I have my own dog too, a lovely lady English Cocker Spaniel called Paris. She’s 8 years old and I adore her. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets. Carrie
A while ago I was asked to name my dream job. It wasn't a difficult question. Anything where I get to be with animals and care for them is definitely my idea of a dream job. Why? Well, I've always enjoyed being around animals. I love dogs for their loyalty and faithfulness though as a child the most time I spent with a pet was a cat who lived with us for 16 years. Maybe it’s because animals put things into perspective, you can see that they don't worry about what might happen in the future if what's happening right now is OK. It’s kind of infectious as an attitude. It’s hard to fret about little things that don’t really matter when you’re with a pet who’s enjoying your company and their life.Desislava
Hello, my name is Tanya. I've loved being around animals since I was a little girl. As a child I used to take care of injured birds until they were recovered enough to set them free again. I was also forever bringing home abandoned dogs and homeless kittens as I couldn’t bear to see them sat alone at the roadside.
I love animals and I'm happiest when I have lots of them around me, so that’s why I decided to become a dog walker and pet sitter. I have my own German shepherd which I trained myself. I like all kinds of animals and I will feel honoured if you choose to let me take care of your pets. I promise to look after them as carefully as if they were my own. I hope to meet you soon. :) Tanya
Hello everyone. My name is Lidia and I've just started working here as a pet sitter. I was fortunate enough to grow up with parents who saw our pets as members of our family and during my childhood we had lots of different animals. I was brought up around dogs and cats of course, but also some more exotic pets with quite unusual needs. Because of this I know that keeping animals brings responsibilities as well as love. I truly believe that they are beings with souls and they need and deserve our love, care and consideration. I'm really looking forward to meeting you and your best friends and if you trust me to be a part of their lives I will do my very best, for you and for them. Lidia
Hi. My name is Roos and I work here at the Fantastic Doggy Centre. I grew up around animals. We used to have a Bernese and 2 Dachshunds as well as rabbits, chicken, sheep, ducks and a cat. I've always loved being around animals and taking care of them. Over the last few years I've been studying, travelling and living in different countries so until recently I haven't been able to keep pets. I've really missed them, so settling in the UK and starting to work with different pets on a daily basis is a really exciting thing.
In the past I've volunteered at dog shelters, the picture here is from a place in Italy. The dog you see me with was from the shelter and she was lovely. I wished I could take her home with me, but I felt like that about all the homeless dogs! I've also worked at other dog day care centres, including one in Greenwich.
Now that I'm settled I have my own dogs again, two of them, they're mixed breed, rather crazy but very loving and a lot of fun. My dream would be to have even more, and a big place they could live in... Maybe, one day I can have a small farm, but for now I'm very happy with my two dogs and the chance to care for yours when they come to the centre. Roos
Hello, my name is Joanna. I'm so happy to be working as a dog walker because I adore animals. I can't imagine life without pets, I grew up with them and whenever my circumstances have allowed I've had a pet or two in my life. I love taking care of animals and I love that if you care for them you get their love in return. So I'm delighted to be working here with the Fantastic Pet Care team and I look forward to meeting you and your dogs very soon. Joanna
Hi there, I'm Stella. There's nothing I love more than animals so I'm delighted to be working with Fantastic Pet Care. I grew up in a home with animals, so to me it seems natural to be surrounded by them. As a child I had a cat for 9 years, a dog for 2 and a fish for 4. Currently I have a little black kitten called Snow (my friends say I have a strange sense of humour!).
I love cats and dogs both, but if I had to choose, maybe I'd come down on the side of cats. You hear so much about how smart dogs are but I think cats are bright too. They can be silly and cute but they're so playful and I adore them. Maybe they aren't quite as obviously loyal as dogs but they do sense emotion. When cat owners are feeling sad, angry or even in pain, you'll often see their cat just sitting with them, or on them. Not asking for anything, just being there for them.
Both cats and dogs can sense emotions and respond to it, and that's the main thing I value about them. If you love them, they'll love you back. Stella
Hello, I'm Monika and I'm here to help you with your pets. It's hard to explain why I love my job, but if you're an animal lover too maybe you already understand. I adore animals and the chance to give love, care and attention to them is always a privilege. Puppies are the best, but all pets give back at least as much as you give them.
As a child I had two fish tanks and a dog. Keeping fish is still an interest of mine, and I still have two tanks. I also have an amazing German Shepherd, we love spending time in any London park and chase one another around for hours. After the long walks we come home exhausted and often fall asleep on the couch watching "Finding Nemo". When you trust me with your pets I promise to look after them responsibly and do anything I can to make sure they're happy in the time they spend with me. Monika
Hi my name is Victoria. Like many people who're animal lovers, it all started for me as a child, I grew up in a house with lots of pets. I think that once you've lived with a dog or a cat you realise that the love and loyalty they offer is without borders.
The affection and acceptance pets offer helps us to overcome everyday difficulties. When you're worried a cat will jump on your lap and calm you with its purring. A dog seems to understand everything you're feeling, when they look at you with those intelligent eyes it's as if they can read your soul, absorb your sadness and take away the pain. And of course there are so many stories of dogs sacrificing themselves for their owners, their kindness and love is that strong. If you tell a dog off or ignore it, it will be sad but never leave you or stop loving you. In return for the loyalty they give us, I believe pets deserve our love and loyalty in return.
I'm so excited to be working here with the Fantastic Pet Care team. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and I promise that when I'm with them I will give the care, love and attention they deserve. Victoria
Hi, I'm Denislava and I've recently joined the team at Fantastic Pet Care.
I'm a life long animal lover. My first pet was a cat, who lived with us from when I was four. My family and I loved her with all our hearts, but I soon realised that there were many street animals who didn't have anyone to take care of them. I felt that every cat or dog I saw should receive love and care from me at least. I think it was pretty tough for my parents when I was six and trying to rescue every single homeless animal! At the age of 8 I hit upon the dream to build a shelter where the animals would be cared for until they found a new home. Even though that has been 15 years ago the dream is still alive...
At the moment I have a cat Juja, and a Pomeranian dog called Daisy (she's the one in the photo). I understand what pets mean to their owners and how hard it can be to leave your best friend with a stranger. I can honestly tell you that taking care of your pets is the best part of my day. I'm always amazed by their ability to understand who really likes them and who's just pretending. When they're offered genuine love they return it unconditionally. So, that's me, totally dedicated to animals! Any time you're away and your pet needs care and someone to be with, I will be delighted to be that person.Denislava
Hi, my name is Viki,
I adore animals so you can imagine how thrilled I am to be working for Fantastic Pet Care. You know what they say: 'If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life!' I think that’s true, but please don’t think it means I don’t take my work seriously. Nothing could be further from the truth.I have a degree in veterinary care and have completed at a veterinary clinic. This doesn't make me a fully qualified vet but it does come in useful in my daily work with animals. Like most of my colleagues, my love for animals stretches back to childhood. Over the last six years I've shared my life with Bucky, my Pekingese pup. So I know about the joys and the occasional worries and stresses of being a pet owner first hand.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I know how hard it can be to leave them. I hope it will help when I assure you I will look after them responsibly, to the best of my ability, and I'll do my best to make sure that they enjoy their time with me as much as I enjoy my time with them.Viktoria
Hello, I'm Miroslava and I adore animals.
In many ways pets remind me of young children; they don't know what hate is and their love is unconditional. Once you've won their friendship they're totally faithful and they will never let you down, I'm sure you know that there are many stories of dogs risking their lives to save their owners. Being around pets and getting a feel for the way they see life is a very positive thing, good for the soul.
And winning the loyalty of a pet isn't hard, all they ask is your love in return. They are powerless though, so they need our protection and it's up to us to make sure they get the shelter, food, exercise and companionship they need to live happy and healthy lives.
I love being around animals, whether that's playing with them, taking them for walks or even just making sure that they have the practical things they need. I'm so happy to be working with Fantastic Pet Care. I look forward to meeting your pets, and when I'm working with them I will be doing my job with all of my heart.Miroslava
It all started with Rafaelo, my dog. He was only 45 days old when I first took him. A tiny, adorable fur ball, but even at less than two months old he was already smart, energetic and full of mischievous attitude. The moment I took him home I realised just how deeply my love for animals runs and I decided that I wanted to work with them, I can't imagine anything else that would bring me such great joy.
All pets are unique, but they all have one thing in common. Whatever the breed or sort of pet, they just want to give and receive love. There's something so pure and unconditional about the love a dog offers that it's hard for us to return as much as we're given.
To some people it might seem like a burden or even a waste of time to care for a pet. To me it's such a wonderful experience that it feels more like play than work. A nice walk in the park with a four-legged friend is a time to feel peaceful, relaxed and carefree....well, carefree apart from making sure the dog stays safe that is!
Our pets are our best and truest friends. I believe they have souls, just as we do and they deserve the things that we all need - love, attention and care. I'm so happy to be working here at Fantastic Pet Care and I look forward to meeting your best four-legged friends.Yoana
Hi, I'm, Eva and I'm the new Groomer at the Fantastic Doggy Centre.
I was brought up in a small village, where we always had lots of animals. I've loved being in their company for as long as I can remember.
When I was 11 I got my very own dog, Viki. She quickly became my best friend and it was then that I decided I wanted to build my career around caring for animals. It's only recently that Viki finally passed on, it was like losing a family member. Sad as it was, I think the experience of losing her has deepened my understanding of just how important pets are to us. I now fully understand how strong the bond between dogs and owners is. Whenever I'm involved in caring for your pet you can be sure that I'll put my heart as well as all my skills into the work.
I love grooming, I started training three years ago and last year I obtained my licence. Every dog presents a new situation, each has its own unique fur and I want every grooming session to be perfect. It's not just about beauty, for most dogs grooming is also important for health, especially for the health of the skin. Some dogs, particularly those with wire-hair coats need to be hand stripped so that dead hair is removed and the skin and coat is able to breath properly.
I love to see the transformation in a dog as a result of the grooming session. One of my favourite parts of working here at the Doggy Centre is that we take pictures both before and after the session so that we and their owners can see the difference. I look forward to meeting you and your pets sometime very soon.Eva Nagy
I'm Dessy and I'm thrilled to be working for Fantastic Pet Care.
The opportunity to spend more time with animals makes me the happiest of woman. Ever since I was a little girl I've had pets and now I have a chance to my work at what I love doing.
I have a dog of my own, a 2 year old golden retriever called Ronny. He's very handsome and playful, like most of his kind. He also loves food, again like most of his breed! I remember once when I cooked pizza and sat on the couch to eat it, Ronny started to bark, calling me outside on the terrace. Then he sneaked back in, went over to the table and ate the whole pizza. Smart he is, much too smart at times! Afterwards he put on his cute guilty face, opened his big eyes and looked at me. I was disarmed. I know I shouldn't have but I started to laugh. What owner can resist that look?
Having a pet is like having a baby, they become part of the family, Ronny is certainly my family. I'm at my happiest when I'm surrounded by animals, they're the best reminder of the existence of unconditional love. That's why I've jumped at the opportunity to develop a career as a professional pet carer. When I look after your pets I'll give them all the love and attention they deserve, and having learnt about dog tricks from Ronny, I promise I won't let them sneak round me and eat anything they shouldn't!Desislava Petrova
My name is Dragomira, I am a huge animal lover and I'm very much looking forward to meeting your pets.
I have a couple of animals myself; Mickey, who is the cutest french bulldog, and one sweet cat - Mozart. It's amazing how loyal dogs are to their owners. On the other hand we have cats, beautiful animals and very loving in their own way but maybe we wouldn't always call them loyal!
I've often been asked why I'm so much in love with pets, not only with dogs and cats, but animals in general. Maybe it's to do with upbringing, ever since I was a little girl, I've had pets. They've always been an essential part of my life, right through my childhood and they still are now. The more animals I am surrounded by, the happier it makes me feel. This is the reason why I wanted to be a dog walker and pet sitter. I adore spending time with animals, especially the shy ones where it's a bit more of a challenge to get them to feel comfortable with you. It gives me a great joy to be a part of Fantastic Pet Care team and I promise to treat your pets with all the love, care and respect you'd wish for.Dragomira Petrova
My name is Milena, I'm 27 years old and I have two 'four-legged children'.
As a child I spent a lot of time at my grandfather's house with his 2 German shepherds, Jake and Oliver and my parents had a cat called Mike. Maybe it was seeing how much having pets added to my family's life, or perhaps I was just born this way. Either way I've always known that I want to have animals in my life.
When I finished school I left home to continue my studies, I missed our pets so much! People used to tell me what a great responsibility animals are and how much time, money and care they require. 'It's not something you just rush into', they said. Actually I agree, I really wanted a dog of my own but I always knew that I'd wait until I was in a situation where I could give my friend the right environment and the love and attention it deserved.
Then, one day when I was viewing apartments to rent, I met the most beautiful and amazing dachshund. Freddie has big brown eyes that are hardly ever still and the moment I saw him I knew he was destined to be my companion. It all came right, the apartment was suitable to keep a dog and there he was waiting for me. My other dog is rather a contrast to a dachshund, Sam is a Pit Bull! I read about him in a local newspaper, saw his photo and instantly fell in love. I know that people have strong feelings about Pit Bulls, I certainly don't think they're the right dog for first time owners and they're a very special responsibility. But I also believe that while some dogs are more challenging than others it's almost always a case of bad owners not bad dogs.
This is the story of my two four-legged friends. Everything people were telling me about having to wait for the right time is true, but now I'm in a situation where I can give my pets what they need I'm grateful to have these two lovely dogs into my life. I feel blessed with their unconditional love. I am very happy to be part of Fantastic Pet Care team, as this will give me the opportunity to spend time with your lovely pets too.Milena Nikolaeva
My name is Mariya, and like most of my colleagues I've had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. At the moment I have two adult cats, a Siamese called Lucifer and an Angora called Eric. I'm also raising two kittens - Ginger and Stuart.
My parents always kept dogs and cats, their dog at the moment is called Liam. He's the most loyal companion and he really is part of our family. He loves going out for a walk and will do anything he can to prolong the exercise. He's also quite mischievous, one time he hid one of my flip-flops somewhere in the garden. We never did find it so I had to buy a new pair. You can imagine how grateful I was to him for this trick!
Sometimes people ask me why I'm so crazy about pets, I think it comes from the fact that once you've won their love it's unconditional. Dogs are so loyal, more so than some people. Their love and support helps us overcome any obstacles we face in life. Cats are calming while dogs can read right into our souls. I find it hard to trust a person who doesn't like animals but I generally respect an animal's judgement when they dislike a person! I adore being around pets and I strongly believe that they make our lives better and brighter.
Thank you, Fantastic Pet Care for choosing me to be part of the team! I look forward to meeting and loving lots of different pets and getting to know their owners too.Mariya Radeva
My name is Radina and I love pets. I have a dog. His name is Michael and he is 9 years old male Chao Chao.
I have him since he was a baby and I adorespending time with him. I take Michael for long walks in the city or for a run in the local park. Picking the right food, grooming and playing with him are part of our daily routine. Being together with Michael, for so long, helped me understand the needs of the dogs and my love for all type of pets grew stronger all because of him. This is the reason why I decided to become a professional dog walker and pet sitter and do something I love for a living, to understand and take care of pets. I like my job because it gives me both satisfaction and fun while spending time with animals.Radina Paneva
My name is Dessy and I am now part of Fantastic Pet Care team. Ever since I was a little girl, my mind was set, that I want my work to be related to animals! I love all kinds of animals, especially cats and dogs. I have a cat of my own, named Carly. She's a black and white and very fluffy cat. Carly loves cuddling and sleeping on any furniture she can find. She is one extremely lazy cat! Whenever she wants anything, she will, most probably, start kissing you and rubbing herself against your legs or even jumping up! She's a real sweetheart.
I'm very happy to be working as a dog walker and pet sitter, because it means I can now spend even more time around animals!Desislava Bogdanova
